The Role: BDR / Founding GTM
Build our entire outbound playbook from scratch. Get contractors on the phone. Travel to trade shows and job sites. Close deals that matter.
No sales experience? Perfect. We want someone exceptional at something else — sports, debate, content creation, anything. If you can work harder than everyone else and connect with people, we'll teach you the rest.
This is employee #10. In a year, you'll manage a team. In two, you could run sales. Real opportunity, real equity, real impact.
What You'll Actually Do
- Master the Art of Getting Through: Build cold-calling playbooks that actually work. Figure out how to get past gatekeepers, reach decision-makers, and turn cold calls into warm conversations.
- Craft Messages That Resonate: Test 100 different ways to say the same thing until you find the one that makes contractors stop what they're doing and listen.
- Travel and Meet Face-to-Face: Fly to trade shows, visit job sites, sit in contractor offices. Build real relationships with the people who keep America running.
- Own the Numbers: Track everything. Know your conversion rates cold. Run experiments like a scientist. Share insights that change how we build product.
- Build the Machine: Document what works. Train the next hire. Build the foundation that scales to 100 salespeople.
