Book a demoWho is Vince Nardo?
Vince Nardo is a home-improvement executive and the CEO of TimeProof, a national residential roofing platform he launched in November 2025 in partnership with TWG Global's TWG Intrepid division. He is best known for leading Reborn Cabinets, the roughly 40-year Southern California remodeling business founded by his father, which he grew to around $90 million in revenue before its 2022 sale to Renovo Home Partners, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity.
Reborn Cabinets: the family business
Reborn Cabinets was founded in 1983 in Anaheim, California by Vinny and Brenda Nardo, Vince's parents, starting as a cabinet-refacing business. Vince ran it as President and CEO, with his brother Anthony as CFO, expanding it into kitchen and bath remodeling, one-day bathroom renovations, and replacement windows across California, Nevada, and Arizona, including a Costco partnership. By 2021 the company reported more than 6,300 jobs, over $90 million in installed revenue, and a top-40 spot on the Qualified Remodeler Top 500.
The 2022 Renovo sale and 2025 shutdown
In July 2022, Reborn Cabinets was acquired by Renovo Home Partners, a portfolio company of Boston-based Audax Private Equity, in Renovo's first West Coast deal. Terms were not disclosed. Nardo stayed on as CEO, framing the sale as a way to reach a scale that would have taken far longer on his own.
The story did not end there. In late October 2025, Reborn Cabinets ceased operations as its parent Renovo Home Partners collapsed, a shutdown that also took down other Renovo brands. Nardo publicly called it devastating to watch the company his father built over four decades come to an end.
Launching TimeProof

Weeks after the Renovo shutdown, Nardo launched TimeProof (TIMEPROOFUSA) in November 2025 with a national residential roofing focus, backed by a partnership with TWG Global's TWG Intrepid division and a debt-free balance sheet. TimeProof opened its first location in Woburn, Massachusetts, and set aggressive expansion targets across dozens of markets.
Nardo has deliberately positioned TimeProof against the private-equity roll-up model that ended Reborn. Rather than acquiring and integrating independent operators, TimeProof is being built greenfield on a single standardized technology platform from day one, a direct reaction to the fragmentation and debt load that can sink roll-ups.
Why Vince Nardo matters
Nardo is a multi-generation family operator who lived the full private-equity arc: build a family brand, sell to a roll-up, then watch the roll-up fail. His next act is a bet that a home-services platform is more durable when it is built clean on common systems rather than stitched together through acquisitions. For operators weighing whether to sell into a platform, his path is an instructive one.
