Book a demoWho is Jeff Gear?
Jeff Gear is the founder and CEO of Revamp Companies, a multi-brand home-improvement platform he built from a concrete-coatings business he started in 2017 as TSR Concrete Coatings. It has since grown into a family of 14 brands across more than 60 locations in roughly 20 states, reporting about $160 million in revenue for 2025 and a top-25 spot on the Qualified Remodeler Top 500.

Selling jobs on social media
Gear's edge is demand generation. He is known as a pioneer of using social media not just to collect leads but to sell jobs directly, running a call-center team that communicates with prospects on Facebook and Instagram. That engine let a single concrete-coatings operator expand into decking, fencing, and windows, and turn into a multi-brand platform.
Two private-equity partners
Gear has used private equity deliberately to fund the roll-up. Bertram Capital backed the business in 2022, merging TSR with Ninja and PolyPro to formally launch the Revamp platform. In January 2026, Calera Capital acquired the company, with Gear staying on to lead it.
We are excited about what is ahead for ReVamp and look forward to working with Calera as partners.
Why Jeff Gear matters
Gear is a leading example of social-media-native selling in home improvement, and of using successive private-equity partners to compound a niche trade into a broad platform. His path from a single coatings crew to a 14-brand company is a template for turning one service line into many.
